UNO! UNO! UNO!

My little Bentley turned 1 on Wednesday! So crazy! We decided to just have a little family shindig for her at the park since Brodee has lots of family here to celebrate with. There was a little wind but it still turned out good. The theme was cute little lady bugs, my sister told me i was going into way too much trouble for something she wouldn't remember but heck, I had fun!

The Invitations! (the wings opened and closed)
Bentley's Birthday Suit
Bentley's thrash cake that she never thrashed!

Cupcakes for the guests
Me trying to get Bentley to destroy her cake, which she never did by the way...
The fun "Pin the Spot on the Ladybug" game for the kids
Bentley with some of her presents after we got home
Our 2nd attempt at getting Bentley to eat her cake, she was either afraid of it or just didn't want to destroy it because her mama did such a BEAUTIFUL, GREAT job on it. HA!
THE END! Year numero dos here we come!

This is too cute! I love the ladybug theme and all that you did with it! Give her a cake to tear up next year, I'm sure that a two year old will over come that shyness! Is she one of those kids that always wants her hands washed? Mariah's Garrett is like that. Pretty funny.

Well I think whether she remembers it or not, it was the thought that counted (Plus she'll be able to see the pictures later!!) and you can NEVER go overboard for your babies FIRST birthday! I think it turned out super cute, you did an awesome job!!

Wow what a great party you had! I love the theme. I say they only turn 1 once and you should have a fun party. I think the invitations with wings that open and close are awesome. I'm gonna hire you to do a cake for us someday. She has great pictures to remember her party with as she gets older.
